Privacy and access control

Private by default

Photo-Pick keeps albums and documents private from the start, then gives you flexible ways to share them when you are ready.

Choose the access model that fits your workflow best - keep content only for yourself, invite specific people by email, collaborate within a team, or share by link.

1. Private albums and documents

This is the default mode in Photo-Pick. When you create an album or document, it stays available only inside your own account until you choose otherwise.

It is the right choice for personal storage, drafts, internal preparation, and any content that should remain visible only to you.

Only the owner has access
Everything starts in a private state.
Not public by default
Your content is not openly visible on the web.
Best for sensitive content
Suitable for private albums and documents.
Extra security available
Two-factor authentication can further protect your account.

Best for

Personal archives, confidential material, draft selections, internal preparation.

Why users choose it

It gives the highest level of control because nothing is shared until the owner decides to share it.

2. Albums and documents available to invited people by email

If you want to share with specific people, Photo-Pick lets you invite them directly by email. This keeps the process controlled and focused on selected recipients.

Invited users can open the album or document and participate according to the available functions, such as viewing and selecting images, while edit access stays restricted.

Invite selected people
Access is limited to named recipients.
Useful for review workflows
Perfect for customer proofing and private approval.
View and pick
Recipients can review and make selections.
No edit access for viewers
Album ownership and editing stay protected.

Best for

Client proofing, private sharing with family, approval flows, and controlled delivery to specific recipients.

How it works

The owner sends an invitation by email, and access is granted only to the invited person. This makes sharing more controlled than a public or widely distributed link.

Why users choose it

It combines convenience with privacy by allowing direct sharing with selected people while keeping album ownership and editing rights protected.

3. Albums and documents within one team

Team access is designed for collaboration. It allows members of the same team to work with albums together inside a shared team environment.

Compared with simple viewing access, team collaboration supports shared work on albums and fits recurring business processes, production teams, internal departments, and project-based work.

Built for collaboration
Several people can work in the same environment.
More than viewing
Supports picking, adding images, and editing.
Limited to the team
Access remains within the team structure.
Great for ongoing workflows
Ideal for organized internal cooperation.

Best for

Studios, departments, creative teams, operational groups, and shared internal projects.
